At are school we do many different sports and matches [and has lots of trophies.] We have a sports teacher that sets up competitions like cross country, swimming and many more and enters us into competitions and sets up matches (example football matches for the team). we have a sports crew that sometimes come to help and cheer on the people that are doing the event. the sports we do are , football, swimming, cricket, athletics and many more. There is a decathlon who represented for great Britain who went to are school. Everyone will get to go to a school competition if they want to. You can also go to sports clubs at are school before and after school to practice a different sport every week.

P.E

In are P.E lessons every term the class does a different sport at the start we learn how to play it at the end we get to play a match it is a lot of fun. In P.E we do all different sports I got to learn hand ball and now it is one of my favorite sports.

SPORT COMPETITIONS

At are school nearly every week there is a sport competitions we have won lots of them as well and always have lots fun but we also do matches and you get to play with your friends. (And win trophies and medals).

SPORT CLUBS

Before and after school you can do a sport club a different sport every single week you go it is all ways lots of fun and you learn the sports with your friends are sport teacher runs the activity’s.

In this blog you will read about Carroty Wood! Are you uncomfortable? Then I will begin.

On the 28th of April [instead of a school day] we went to Carroty Wood, an outdoor fun- activities centre😆😁. I woke up early[6.45am] because I was really looking forward to Carroty Wood, then I got my clothes on [normal shorts, adidas t-shirt and my Nike top] then I went downstairs made me some breakfast. Accidentally knocked down the cereal box and went everywhere! My mum got a bit mad. I had to admit I was a bit nervous, but I was mostly excited. Had a fun wrestle with my brother, then did my teeth. Ticked everything on my check list that I had in my bag and skedaddled🚗!

I got into my car and drove to Carroty Wood with my dad- who has bad memory- and when I got there my dad signed me in and then I joined my class and talked until we had to walk over to our first activity [which was abseiling!!!]😁

When we were finally at the abseiling place we put on our harnesses and started. Some people went up and some stayed, watching. The people who went up got started and climbed down slowly but gradually…. they finished. Everyone applauded them! Next six went up, climbed the ladders, and joined the staff. I did it first, it was really fun and EVERYONE applauded me obviously. There was a higher one which went on because I am brave! 😏 Guess what? Nobody applauded me!

Then it was snack time, I had fruit, mango ,grapes and pineapple. I went to the toilet because I needed to go. We swapped with the other group and got to do archery. We were called the Ender Bows and the other team were called Lava Chicken. I got 3 or 4 golds which is an improvement from last time where I did it at my Grandma’s house. Basically Carroty Wood was amazing!!! I had MacDonald’s🍔🍟 at the end! I gained weight[which I don’t like] and had a good sleep!!!!
